We seek to find a food chemist/scientist that has experience in developing and improve foods and beverages; analyse methods of cooking, canning, freezing, and packaging; and study the effects of processing on food.
▪︎ Partner with Medical Nutrition, Marketing, and Sales to align product design with business and hospital patient needs.
▪︎ Research and evaluate new ingredients and explore new medical nutrition opportunities.
▪︎ Support leadership with technical and scientific expertise for product and clinical development.
▪︎Build vendor relationships to source ingredients that meet product requirements.
▪︎ Present company research at scientific meetings and conferences.
▪︎ Ensure strong intellectual property protection for new products and processes.
▪︎Follow all GMP, food safety, and workplace safety policies.
Senior Food Scientist duties:
• Develop and optimise nutritional beverage and powder formulations that meet nutritional, sensory, and stability goals.
• Partner with Medical Nutrition, Marketing, and Sales to align product design with business and patient needs.
• Research and evaluate new ingredients and explore new medical nutrition opportunities.
• Support leadership with technical and scientific expertise for product and clinical development.
• Build vendor relationships to source ingredients that meet product requirements.
• Present company research at scientific meetings and conferences.
• Ensure strong intellectual property protection for new products and processes.
Further Responsibilities:

Working within our small team of current food scientists and technologists you will study the basic elements of new food products. Analyse the nutritional content of new foods, discover new food sources, and research all aspects of discoveries with intricate support documentation.
Our successful candidate will be:
• A Food Scientist with experience and possess a highly technically documented CV with an exciting and interesting scientist track record.
