Mission and Responsibilities:
As Head of Sourcing and Production, you will be accountable for end-to-end production excellence, from sourcing strategy to industrialisation, in close partnership with Product Development, Quality and Finance.
You will play a key role in structuring, securing and scaling the production and sourcing organisation in a fast-paced environment with complex collections.
Your key responsibilities include:
Production & Sourcing Strategy:
• Define and drive the global sourcing strategy across key regions (China, Turkey, Portugal, Italy, India)
• Lead supplier selection, onboarding, performance management and exit
• Own commercial negotiations including pricing, MOQs, lead times and capacity commitments
• Proactively manage production risks with a strong problem-solving mindset.
Industrialisation, Tech & Quality:
• Drive technical and industrialisation strategy in partnership with Head of Development.
• Own fit strategy, grading, measurement charts and size consistency.
• Lead production validation including PPS and first production approvals.
• Establish technical manuals, quality standards and a clear quality gate system.
• Manage and elevate internal and freelance technical and quality resources.
Process, Methodology & Tools:
• Structure and improve production processes across the organisation
• Co-create and formalise collection and production calendars.
• Implement production planning and critical path tools.
• Optimise use of PLM (Centric) and ERP (Navision).
• Clarify roles and responsibilities across Product Development, Production and Tech.
Budget Ownership & Financial Performance:
• Own and manage the full production budget.
• Monitor costs, invoices and variances
• Co-build budgets and forecasts with Finance and manage in-season re-forecasting.
• Drive KPIs including margin, on-time delivery, cost savings and quality improvements.
Calendars, Delivery & Cross-Functional Leadership:
• Co-own the master calendar across design, development, production and logistics.
• Secure delivery across drops, capsules and special projects.
• Improve visibility, reduce delays and minimise reworks.
• Drive discipline, anticipation and accountability across teams.
Sustainability & Compliance:
• Ensure supplier compliance with social and environmental standards
• Support certifications and traceability in collaboration with CSR and quality teams.
You will lead a team of Production Managers and technical/quality resources, and work closely with cross-functional stakeholders across Design, Product Development, Merchandising, Finance, Supply Chain and CSR.
Requirements:
• Senior experience within production, sourcing and industrialisation in fashion
• Strong expertise in complex collections and manufacturing excellence
• Proven ability to structure organisations and processes in fast-paced environments
• Strong technical product and quality background
• Demonstrated leadership experience managing teams and external partners
• Strong negotiation skills and financial acumen
• Experience working with PLM and ERP systems
• Fluent in English.
