Primary Goal: Drive profitability, technological growth, and scalable crop production via remote monitoring and automated systems.
Serves as FIELD's public voice with communities, funders and philanthropy, policymakers and other external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership: Create and execute long-term plans for business growth and market expansion.
Digital Operations Oversight: Monitor crop yields, automated machinery fleets, or indoor climate systems using cloud dashboards and agritech software.
Team Management: Direct distributed executive and horticultural teams through virtual collaboration tools.
Financial Stewardship: Manage corporate budgets, optimize operational costs, and report performance metrics to the board.
Stakeholder Relations: Build partnerships with investors, agritech vendors, and agricultural research institutions.
Qualifications & Skills:
Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Agricultural Sciences, or a technical field.
Experience: Minimum 5 to 10 years of executive management experience, ideally within agriculture, tech, or indoor farming.
Technical Skills: Deep familiarity with agritech platforms, data analytics, automation software, and remote communication systems.
Soft Skills: Visionary leadership, high-stress adaptability, and crisp virtual communication.
