Concept Motor Cycle Engineer

We are seeking to find a concept motorcycle designer - engineer that creates initial visions for our new iconic American motorcycle brand.

You will combine engineering and artistry to develop new ideas, focusing on both aesthetics, mechanics and engineering.  You will use sketching and 3D modeling to bring fresh concepts to life.

You will possess advanced electro - engineering experience and design capabilities working at a leading motocycle corporation based in the United States, Germany, United Kingdom, Japan or Asia.

You will be an expert concept motorcycle designer, your job will revolve around translating visionary ideas into tangible, manufacturable realities.

Core Responsibilities:
Ideation and Sketching: Translating broad themes or performance metrics into hand-drawn sketches, mood boards, and digital concepts using visual processes like hand sketching, product illustrations, and photo editing.

3D Modeling & Surfacing: Using advanced CAD software such as Autodesk Alias or PTC Creo to create 3D virtual models from blank-sheet to concept release,” according to CHD Design Works.

Ergonomics & Ergonomics: Balancing the artistic visual elements with practical rider ergonomics and mechanical packaging (engine, chassis, exhaust).

Cross-functional Collaboration: Working closely and advising electro - engineers, product planners, and marketing teams to ensure design intent is maintained through production.

Requirements and Qualifications:
Educational Background: Automotive Design, Industrial Design, or Mechanical/Motorcycle Engineering with the ideal candidate holding a degree in mechanical, automotive, motorsport or motorcycle engineering.

Software Proficiency: Mastery of 2D/3D design tools like Adobe Photoshop, Autodesk Alias, PTC Creo, or Blender.

Industry Experience: Usually requires 3+ to 5+ years of hands-on experience working in automotive or mainstream motorcycle companies.
