We are seeking to find a Finance Director for our large manufacturing client situated in Bangkok Thailand. The job specification is below.
To ensure accurate financial data and maintain on time deadline regarding Finance, Accounting and Controlling of the company, as well as IT activities are well managed for the smooth business operations.
Be consultancy for rhe firm and other related issues.
Key Accountabilities :
Financial Management & Reporting
• Supervise and monitor all accounting and cashiering activities of the company.
• Ensure compliance with Group financial control methods, policies, and procedures.
• Prepare, analyze, and monitor annual budgets, investments, expenditures, and operating expense budgets.
• Review and manage working capital, banking transactions, taxation matters, and cash flow activities.
• Ensure timely preparation of quarterly forecasts, monthly financial statements, cost analysis, and management reports to evaluate business performance and trends.
• Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support business decision-making.
• Coordinate and manage yearly external audits with auditing firms.
• Organize and oversee matters related to Fire and Business Interruption Insurance.
• Establish and maintain effective internal. control procedures.
IT & System Administration:
• Provide consultancy and support for hardware, networking, and telecommunication systems.
• Monitor and support SAP system administration, functional modules, system analysis, and software development.
• Support and coordinate all IT-related activities within the organization.
Budget & Cost Control:
• Set and manage investment and expenditure budgets within responsible areas.
• Supervise and drive cost reduction programs to ensure achievement of company goals and business objectives.
• Initiate and implement special projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
Stakeholder Management:
• Collaborate closely with Accounting, Finance, and Controlling teams at Headquarters to achieve business objectives.
• Coordinate with governmental agencies, financial institutions, auditors, insurance providers, and legal authorities in Thailand.
• Communicate and exchange information with global finance managers within the Group.
• Support activities that enhance the effectiveness of the Continual Improvement Process.
Leadership & People Management:
• Lead, coach, and develop direct subordinates in line with company guidelines and standards.
• Motivate and support team members to continuously improve performance and professional capabilities.
• Monitor and organize staff training programs to strengthen job-related knowledge and competencies.
• Ensure compliance with Quality and Environmental Management System procedures within the responsible area.
• Foster a positive working environment built on fairness, teamwork, and collaboration.
Qualifications :
• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Financial Controller or in a similar position.
• Strong experience in accounting, financial management, budgeting, and cost reporting.
• Solid knowledge of taxation, banking operations, internal control systems, and IFRS.
• Knowledge of data processing and computerized accounting systems.
• Hands-on experience with SAP and ERP systems is required.
• Strong understanding of cost and performance calculation.
• Manufacturing industry background is required.
• Strong leadership, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Ability to work collaboratively in an international business environment.
